From Threat of Loss to Supernatural Promotion
This testimony is proof that God is fully aware of everything happening in the life of every believer.
I live in the United States, and since relocating, it felt like I moved from one challenge to another. I have two testimonies to share. The first concerns my job. In March, I started working with a company where I had no prior experience. During the interview, I met directly with the CEO and owner. The moment she saw me, she said, “You are the one I want to hand everything over to.” I was shocked. In April, I began having serious issues with the person who referred me to the company. She wanted me to compromise, which I refused. She later came to the office, caused trouble, and even physically assaulted me. Because she was family to the owner, I fully expected to be sacked. I went to God in prayer and cried out, asking Him to search my heart, knowing I had acted with integrity. Before I even finished praying, I had an encounter where an angel of the Lord said to me, “You will not be sacked; you will be promoted. Tomorrow, you will have a meeting with your boss. She will be angry, but fear not—the Lord is with you.”
The next day, the meeting happened exactly as shown. My boss said she was going to sack me and even brought my replacement, whom I had already been joyfully training, trusting that all things work together for good for those who love God. Around this time, I had been seeking a one-on-one encounter with my Prophet. Three days ago, after being instructed to stay in prayer, I had a dream where I saw Prophet Usen MJ with my younger brother. As he was going to sleep, he called me and said, “Elijah, take this torch; it is dark around you.” I took the torch, and as I lit it, light flooded my surroundings. When I woke up, I understood it to mean visibility, clarity, direction, and exposure.
Then yesterday, as I was about to leave the office, my boss called me in for a discussion. To my shock, she began pleading with me, saying she didn’t want me to leave. She announced my promotion—I am now the second-in-command, overseeing the entire Texas region, effective December. She also promised a salary increase and told me that she would provide anything I needed. She even offered to pay my tuition because I want to return to school to study Engineering. She also issued me a cheque to get a car. I am not even naturally qualified for this role, but just as Scripture says, “When the Holy Spirit comes, He will teach you all things.” This is truly the hand of God.
