Divine Protection and Preservation Over Family

I want to thank God for His divine protection and preservation over my family. On Friday morning, my mum called me concerning an issue. Visiting home wasn’t part of my plan at all, but somehow, I told her I was coming home. Later, my dad even called to tell me not to bother coming again, yet I felt unusually grounded in my decision to go. When I eventually got home, by God’s help, the issue was resolved. After that, I suddenly felt the urge to go and make my hair something I hadn’t planned to do at all.

While I was at the salon, my brother called to inform me that there was a snake in his room. Immediately, I rushed home with others, and by the help of God and the people around, the snake was killed without anyone being harmed. I am deeply grateful to God because at that time, my brother wasn’t working on his laptop. If he had been, he would have been looking down and might not have noticed the snake on the curtain. I also realized that if my mum hadn’t called me that morning, I wouldn’t have gone home, and if I wasn’t at the salon at that exact moment, I wouldn’t have been able to call for help on time.

It became very clear to me that God had been orchestrating everything from the very beginning of the day, the phone calls, the seemingly random decisions, and even my insistence on going home. This experience reminded me strongly of Psalm 37:23: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.”

This testimony is not just about protection from danger, but also a reminder of how intentional God is about our lives. He arranges even the smallest details -things we often think are random for our good. I also thank God because this serves as a confirmation of the declarations our Pastor makes over us every Sunday that we are protected, preserved, and that no harm shall come near us.
