Academic Success and an Increase in My Financial Status
I am a living testimony that God and academics can work together. Before I entered the university, I made a personal decision and promise that I would graduate with a first-class degree.
The journey was not easy, and there were moments when it felt like that promise might slip through my hands. Part 5 first semester was especially challenging. Our examination format changed from multiple-choice questions to full theory, and it shook many of us. I put in my very best, yet the results came back with 2 As, 3 Bs, and 2 Cs, which was very unusual for me. Interestingly, it was the same experience for most of my coursemates.
When we went to complain, we were shown the marking guide, and it became clear that the expectations were far higher than what we were used to. If a question said “list,” they expected both listing and explanation. If it said “mention two,” the marking guide demanded far more detail. It was a new system, but instead of giving up, I tightened up. I thank God because by the second semester, I clearly understood what was required. I adjusted, I worked harder, and by the grace of God, I had straight As, a perfect 5.0 GPA. This single semester boosted my CGPA and restored my first-class honours. Hallelujah!
I also want to thank God for the increase in my finances. God has truly lifted me. He brought me from a place of lack into abundance. I am now in a position where I make seven figures monthly. Doors I did not knock on are opening for me. I have moved from surviving on ₦5,000 per week to paying people working with me over ₦800,000 every month. This can only be God, and I return all the glory to Him. Lastly, I give glory to the God of the Prophet who walks with me.
Special thanks to the Prophet for his constant support, covering, and guidance. To God alone be all the praise. Hallelujah!
